This study, published by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) in 2008, documents that a simple radiant heat flux measurement method with a common Schmidt-Boelter sensor delivers meaningful and repeatable performance test results for electric infrared heaters. Therefore, future Standards development bodies may consider it as a valuable testing method.
